Tier sets the value grail (leading zeros, permanent). The sigil's shape adds structure traits you can see: H-MIRROR / V-MIRROR (symmetry, ~1%), QUAD (4-fold, rare), DENSE / SPARSE. A symmetric common is its own kind of grail — an art grail. All of it is in the hash; anyone can re-render and re-check.

You pull a sigil — a 16×16 bitmap where each pixel is one bit of the key's SHA-256 hash. No two are alike, and it's not decoration: the picture is the key, fully reconstructable from the hash.
Rarity is intrinsic. Leading zeros set the tier (each zero 16× rarer — that's the top-left corner of the sigil going dark), exactly like proof-of-work. On top, some sigils show emergent structure — mirror symmetry, unusual density — which random noise almost never produces. Those are the art grails.
